Rollerblade E2 110

Salut
Do you want to dream that you glide with speed and ease over long distances? Well fuck that get a paire of E2 110 and live it.
I took 1 point above my normal shoe size and even then they felt very tight on the first try, but I saw that they were taking shape quickly, so I tried my luck and after two sessions I got a perfectly comfortable fit.

Fantastic skates...after the break-in.

I wanted to get back into inline skating after a 10+ years hiatus and decided to buy a "higher end, previous year's" model as that normally gives more "bang for the buck." After a bit of back and forth with Solo Inline about sizing--they were EXTREMELY helpful and have/had some of the best customer support I have ever experienced!--I purchased the E2 110.

I am very happy with these skates and they do actually run "true to size" in my opinion. While these aren't quite speed skates, they are as close as you can get, and are therefore, supposed to fit extremely close. The E2's are not supposed to be oven heat moldable (although there are a few people I've read online who have tried with good results...I didn't dare though) and as a result, they really have to be worn to be broken in.
Expect to be extremely uncomfortable for the first number of hours! In fact, I would suggest NOT skating in them more than an hour or two the first couple outings, simply to give your feet/ankles/skin a rest from the break-in discomfort!

Now, post break-in, they are absolutely fantastic. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I did choose to change how I laced the skate (skipped some holes) to avoid pressure on some weird bone structures in my foot. This is also why I decided to go for the E2 instead of the newer Rev BOA skate as there is less flexibility in terms of spot pressure reduction due to the lacing system.

Lastly, I opted for the E2 110 over the 125mm wheel E2 Pro's as I wanted a slightly shorter frame for more maneuverability. I had also never skated on wheels larger than 90mm before this skate. The E2 110 frame can fit 125mm wheels, but honestly I'll probably stick to 110mm wheels until my ankles are strong enough that I can skate consistently without the removable cuff.

If you have typical size/shape feet, it really is hard to beat the quality of this skate, especially at the current prices with the E2 being an older model. If you don't absolutely have to have the latest and greatest, I would say this is a fantastic foray into the tier of skates just above high-end fitness skates without going straight to a speed skate. The best thing about Rollerblade's offerings, is that there is room to "grow" with the removable cuff.

Servicio al cliente

I bought the skates and unfortunately they were tight on me. the correct size is half a number larger. My complaint is because I informed the seller of this situation, and I had no response, for change.
