Good boots, but takes time to break in

Pros:

- Power Transfer: Excellent; every ounce of energy is transferred directly to the frames.

- Versatility: Highly customizable with laces and three straps. The low cuffs provide enough support for jumps and tricks while allowing the ankle flexibility needed for deep, long strides. They can even be skated cuffless.

- Fit: No heel lift detected. The overall fit was good enough that heat molding wasn't necessary.

- Frame Compatibility: The 7x2 mounting holes provide a massive range for frame adjustment.

- Aesthetics: Great-looking carbon boot.

Cons:

- Durability Issues: Small hardware details are lacking. An eyelet is already missing, and the screws are relatively low quality.

- Mounting Frustrations: One mounting screw is already stripped/damaged. Additionally, the mounting holes had slight sizing inconsistencies; I recommend "pre-running" the screws without the frames first to ensure the threads are clear.

- Break-in Period: It’s a long process. The tongues are particularly stiff and caused significant lace bite before they finally softened up.

The boot itself is a high-performance masterpiece, but Micro missed the mark on the "small things" like screws and eyelets. If you're willing to swap out the hardware and suffer through a tough break-in, the performance is worth it.
